ZP19064 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 2: ASSEMBLE THE FENCE FRAME STEP 2.1 Lay out (1) Bottom Rail (C) and (1) Top Rail (D). D The top rail has picket holes on both sides. C STEP 2.2 E 1 1. Insert (2) Posts (E) down into the holes in the rails as shown. 2. Continue sliding the posts until the predrilled holes in the posts and the rails align. 3. ZP19064 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 3: INSTALL THE PICKETS STEP 3.1 Insert (9) Pickets (B), into the rails until the picket tabs lock into the bottom rail. B Note: It may take some light force to insert the pickets through the routed holes. STEP 4: ASSEMBLE THE SECOND PANEL STEP 4.1 Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to assemble the second fence panel. 6 WWW.ZIPPITY-OUTDOOR.
ZP19064 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 5: INSTALL THE FENCE STEP 5.1 Push down on the top of the posts with both hands. Move the panel to its final location, and identify where the posts will be located. Attempt to push the unit into the ground as illustrated. STEP 5.2 1. If your ground is too hard, loosen the top 6” or 7” of the ground with a claw hammer as illustrated. 2. Add water to the loosened soil. 3. Use a block of wood to protect the top of the post, and gently hammer the post into the ground.
ZP19064 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 5.4 Optional in hard ground: If your ground is too hard, or you have more than 3 or 4 panels to install, please consider these options: 1. Use a 1¾” diameter auger bit (commonly used for planting tulips) as illustrated ($15-$20 on Amazon.com). 2. Drill a hole about 12” to 16” deep at the desired location, and fill the holes with water as illustrated. 3. Push the fence posts into the holes. 1 2 3 8 WWW.ZIPPITY-OUTDOOR.
