Inventory Parts - Read This Before Starting Assembly STOP A. STOP STOP STOP his is the time for you to inventory all your hardware, wood and accessories, T referencing the parts identification sheets. This will assist you with your assembly. • Each step indicates which bolts and/or screws you will need for assembly, as well as any flat washers, lock washers, t-nuts or lock nuts. B.
Step 1: Attach Short Supports A: Lay one (217) X Panel Post Front and one (227) X Panel Post Back on edge, so the grooved sides face each other (fig 1.1). Notice the hole location on both posts.
Step 2: Attach Inserts Part 1 A: Loosely attach one (228) Insert inside the grooves of each (217) X Panel Post Front and (227) X Panel Post Back with 1 (YB4) 1/4 x 3 3/4” Wafer Bolt (with 5/16” flat washer) as shown in figures 2.1 & 2.2. Step 2: Attach Inserts Part 2 B: With an adult helper stand up posts and place one (211) Seat Back on the outside of both (227) X Panel Post Back and tight to the top of (215) Short Wide Supports (fig 2.3 & 2.4). Notice the hole is toward the bottom of the board. Insert one 1/4” Connector Nut into (211) Seat Back and loosely attach to previously installed (YB4) 1/4 x 3 3/4” Wafer Bolt on each side (fig 2.4).
Step 3: Insert X Panels Part 1 A: With an adult helper slide one (221) X Horizontal A down the grooves of each (217) X Panel Post Front and (227) X Panel Post Back so it sits tight to the top of (228) Inserts using 2 (YS4) #8 x 3” Wood Screws per side (fig 3.1 & 3.2). Step 3: Insert X Panels Part 2 B: Place one X Insert Pin into one (223) X Diagonal, then attach a second (223) X Diagonal to form a complete X Panel. Make sure the pieces are tight to each other (fig 3.3 & 3.4) Repeat for second assembly. Step 3: Insert X Panels Part 3 C: Slide one completed X Panel down the grooves of each (217) X Panel Post Front and (227) X Panel Post Back so it sits tight to the top of (221) X Horizontal Insert A as shown in fig. 3.5. Step 4: Attach Arch Scrolls Fig. 4.1 Note orientation of Arch Scrolls (fig. 4.1, 4.2 & 4.3). A: Insert one (222) Arch Scroll between (217) X Panel Post Front and (227) X Panel Post Back so flat edge is tight to the top of (221) X Horizontal A (fig. 4.2 & 4.3) with 2 (S4) #8 x 3” Wood Screws as shown in fig 4.3. Step 5: Attach Beams to X Panel Posts A: Flush to the top and outside edges of (217) X Panel Post Front and (227) X Panel Post Back attach one (218) Beam per side with 4 (YS3) #8 x 2 1/2” Wood Screws per board (fig. 5.1 & 5.2). Step 6: Attach Supports A: Attach one (213) Support tight to the inside of (217) X Panel Post Front and (227) X Panel Post Back on each side and flush to the tops of (211) Seat Back and (210) Seat Front using 4 (YS4) #8 x 3” Wood Screws per board (fig 6.1 & 6.2). Ensure the wide end of (213) Support is against (211) Seat Back (fig. 6.2) . B: Centre remaining (213) Supports over pilot holes in (211) Seat Back and (210) Seat Front as shown in fig. 6.1 and attach using 4 (YS4) #8 x 3 Wood Screws per board.
Step 7: Attach Seat Back Braces Part 1 A: Place two (226) Seat Back Braces on (213) Support so that the straight edges are flush to the back of each (227) X Panel Post Back and the bottom is tight to (211) Seat Back as shown in fig. 7.1 & 7.2. Note the orientation of (226) Seat Back Brace (fig 7.2). B: Attach each (226) Seat Back Brace to each (227) X Panel Post Back using 3 (YS4) #8 x 3” Wood Screws per board (fig. 7.1 & 7.2). Step 7: Attach Seat Back Braces Part 2 C: Place one (226) Seat Back Brace on remaining (213) Supports as shown in fig 7.3 & 7.4. Attach (226) Seat Back Brace to (211) Seat Back using 1 Corner Brace with 3 (YS5) #8 x 1/2” Pan Screws per board (fig. 7.3 & 7.4). Step 8: Attach Seat Tops Part 3 D: Attach one (212) Seat Top flush to the top face of (212) Seat Top and one (212) Seat Top flush to the top of all four (226) Seat Back Braces using 8 (YS2) #8 x 1 1/2” Wood Screws per board (fig 8.4). E: Evenly space three (212) Seat Tops between previously installed (212) Seat Tops then attach to (226) Seat Back Braces using 8 (YS2) #8 x 1 1/2” Wood Screws per board (fig. 8.4). Step 9: Attach Window Triple Panel Part 1 A: With an adult helper place one (216) Window Triple Panel tight to the top of all (226) Seat Back Braces and tight to the inside edges of both (227) X Panel Post Back (fig 9.1). . Step 10: Attach Panel Top Rail A: Tight to the inside edges of both (227) X Panel Post Back attach (225) Panel Top Rail to (216) Window Triple Panel using 4 (YS4) #8 x 3” Wood Screws (fig. 10.1 & 10.3). Ensure the groove in (225) Panel Top Rail sits over the top of (216) Window Triple Panel as shown in fig. 10.2. B: Ensure assembly is square and tighten all Wafer Bolts from Step 2. Step 11: Arch Beam Assembly Part 1 A: Attach two (220) Beam End Short centered over the outside holes and flush to the top of (219) Engineered Arch Beam using 3 (YS3) #8 x 2 1/2” Wood Screws per side (fig. 11.1). Repeat for a second assembly. B: At the top of each (217) X Panel Post Front and (227) X Panel Post Back insert one 1/4” Wafer Connector Nut from inside the assembly as shown in fig. 11.2 & 11.3. Step 11: Arch Beam Assembly Part 2 C: Attach one completed Arch Beam Assembly with (220) Beam End Shorts facing out, flush to the top of each (217) X Panel Post Front and (227) X Panel Post Back using 1 (YB1) 1/4 x 2” Wafer Bolt (with 5/16” flat washer and previously installed connector nut) per side (fig 11.4 & 11.5). Step 12: Attach Trellis A: Center one (224) Trellis on the top of both Arch Beam Assemblies and attach using 2 (YS24) #10 x 4” Wood Screws (fig. 12.1). B: Place one (224) Trellis 1/4” from the start of the arch on each end of the Arch Beam Assemblies as shown in fig. 12.2 and attach using 2 (YS24) #10 x 4” Wood Screws per trellis (fig. 12.3 ) . C: Evenly space the remaining two (224) Trellis between the middle and outside pieces and attach with 2 (YS24) #10 x 4” Wood Screws per trellis as shown in fig. 12.
Step 13: Attach Sunshade A: Center Sunshade over (224) Trellis and attach two male snaps (fig. 13.2) into the center (224) Trellis and connect snaps (fig. 13.1). B: Pull Sunshade tight and mark and install male snaps on the two outside (224) Trellis then connect snaps (fig 13.1).
