Menu items vary depending on the files stored on your
iPod.
■ Play information display
a Shuffle and repeat icons
b (playback), (pausing), (search forward) and
(search backward)
c Album art (image of CD jacket, etc)
d Elapsed time, progress bar, remaining time
e Song title, artist name, album title

• You can switch the information displayed on the front panel display by
pressing DINFO (or fINFO).
• Album arts are available only when the file contains image data.
When controlling iPod in simple remote mode, operate the
iPod directly to set the shuffle and repeat playback.
1 Press tDISPLAY to switch to menu browse
mode while “DOCK” is selected as the input
source.
2 Press rOPTION on the remote control.
The Option menu for “iPod” is displayed (page 47).
3 Press jCursor k / n to select “Shuffle” or
“Repeat” and then press jENTER.
4 Press jCursor l / h to select the desired
playback style.
Shuffle:
• Select “Off” if you do not want to play back in
random order.
• Select “Songs” to play back songs in random order.
• Select “Albums” to play back albums in random
order.
Repeat:
• Select “Off” if you do not want to play back
repeatedly.
• Select “One” to repeat each song.
• Select “All” to repeat all songs.
To return to the previous screen, press jRETURN.

• When the shuffle function is on, “ ” appears on the GUI screen.
• When “Repeat” is set to “One” or “All”, “ ” or “ ” appears on the
GUI screen.
