Quick Start Guide

4 Turn Knob 1 to select one of the following voice categories.

5 Turn Knob 2 to choose a voice from the selected category.

For details regarding all categories and voices, refer to the Data List pdf document. For more details regarding

voices from the PIANO and E.PIANO categories, refer the Reference Manual pdf document.

6 Select the Pre-Amplifier block, the Modulation Effect block, or the Power-Amplifier / Compressor block for editing by

pressing and holding its button (for at least one second). The Pre-Amplifier block can be edited only if a voice from

the PIANO or E.PIANO category was assigned to the current part, and the Power-Amplifier / Compressor block is

available on the CP5 only.

The corresponding parameter setting screen will be displayed.

NOTE You can also call up a parameter setting screen by holding down the [EXIT/jump to edit] button and pressing the corresponding block

button.

7 If you have selected the Modulation Effect block or the Power-Amplifier / Compressor block, press the [L PAGE] or

[1] button to ensure that Page 1 is displayed. If you have selected the Pre-Amplifier block, Step 9 below can be

omitted.

8 Turn Knobs 1, 2, and 3 to select a block type.

9 Press the [L PAGE] and [PAGE R] buttons to navigate between the screen’s pages and modify other parameters.

Individual category names are written below each of the Number buttons [1] to [10]. To select a category directly, therefore,

you can press the corresponding Number button.
