Using POPCORN
POPCORN lets you pop commercially
packaged microwave popcorn by touching
just one pad. Pop only one package at a
time. lf you are using a microwave popcorn
popper, follow manufacturer’s instructions.
You can set your microwave oven to pop
different size bags of popcorn. You specify
the setting by the number of times you touch
POPCORN. To correctly set your microwave
oven, follow this chart:
Cooking performance may vary with brand.
Try several brands to decide which gives
best popping results. For best results, use
fresh bags of popcorn.
NOTE: If you want to change the popping
time after choosing POPCORN, see “Adding
or subtracting cook time” on page 45.
Fire Hazard
l Do not try to repop unpopped kernels
and do not reuse popcorn bags. Fire
could result.
l If you remove the rack right after pop-
ping popcorn, use oven mitts. It will be
very hot and could bum you.
1. Place bag In oven and close
the door.
2. Choose POPCORN.
Example for 3.5 oz regular bags:
After 3 seconds, oven starts popping
