REMOVING THE WASH PUMP MOTOR CAPACITOR
1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2. From under the sink, remove the five
screws from the front panel and remove
the panel.
3. Remove the wash pump motor capacitor
mounting nut from the chassis.
4. Remove the two panels from the bottom of
the dishwasher (see step 2 on page 4-14).
5. Use a screwdriver with an insulated handle
and short the wash pump motor capacitor
terminals to ground to discharge the ca-
pacitor. NOTE: Touch the screwdriver first
to ground, and then to the capacitor termi-
nals.
6. Disconnect the wire connectors from the
wash pump motor capacitor terminals.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
