NOTE
Read this document carefully before beginning the installation. Follow the
specications listed on the ratings plate found on the enclosure (including
the protection degree, gas groups and temperature class).
Alterations or modications to the enclosure or its contents may invalidate
the certication.
This enclosure should only be mounted, serviced and repaired by authorised
personnel (in accordance with IEC / EN 60079-17 and IEC/EN60079-19,
IEC / EN 60079-14). Such personal must be trained in the technical and
protective aspects of installation. They must have been trained and
understand the relevant rules and regulations, the generally accepted
engineering standards, the relevant local assembly and installation
requirements, and the general principles of area classications.

It is not allowed to install Klippon
®
Aluminium K enclosures inside
Zone 0 or 20.
The following installation instructions apply to the following documents:
• Certication of the enclosure’s components
• Standard installation and engineering practices
Certication Label
The “U” certication label on the empty enclosure should be removed or covered over.
The rating label for the fully certied device should be attached to the device.
The distributor of the actual device is responsible for ensuring that the specications
on the certication label are correct.
The maximum surface area of the ratings plates must comply with IEC / EN 60079-0.
