Explorer
Using Device Name:
1. Enter the name of your WD My Cloud device in the
br
owser’s address field (see “Appendix D: WD My
Cloud Device URLs and Names” on page 111 for a list
of device names):
- http://<device name> (Windows)
(Example: http://wdmycloud)
- http://<device name>.local (Mac)
(Example: http://wdmycloud.local)
2. Click Go.
Using IP Address:
1. Enter the IP address of your WD My Cloud device in
the
browser’s address field: http://<IP Address>.
You can find the IP address from your router’s user
interface.
- For 4-bay WD My Cloud devices, the IP address
can be found in Status LCD on the front of the
device.
2. Click Go.
Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 1. On the Start page, type Co
mputer.
2. Click Computer.
3. In the left pane, click Ne
twork.
4. In the right panel, locate your WD My Cloud device

nder Storage.
5. Double-click the device, or
right-click and select View
device webpage from the resulting menu.

Mobile Devices
iOS Devices:
1. Open a browser.
2. In the Address bar, enter
http://<device name>.local.
Android Devices:
1. Open a browser.
2. In the Address bar, enter http://<device name>.
