Troubleshooting
Problem Suggestion
The battery does
not charge in the
handset or the
handset battery does
not accept charge.
• Make sure the handset is placed in the telephone base or charger correctly. The CHARGE light
on the handset should be on.
• Remove the battery from the handset and install it in the spare battery compartment at the
bottom of the telephone base and let it charge for 16 hours. Then re-install the charged battery
pack into the handset.
• If the cordless handset is in the charger or in the telephone base but the CHARGE light is not on,
refer to The CHARGE light is off in the section below.
• It may be necessary to purchase a new battery. Please refer to the battery section of this
user’s manual.
• The telephone might be malfunctioning. Please refer to the warranty section of this user’s manual
for further instruction.
Low Battery is
displayed on screen.
• Place the handset in the base or charger for recharging.
• Remove and re-install the battery pack and use it normally until fully discharged, then recharge
the handset on the base or charger for 16 hours.
• If the above measures do not correct the problem, the battery pack may need to be replaced.
