sophisticated lighting control made simple multiload technology
“Installing Multiload Technology products is like painting by numbers” Martin Lynch, Raytell Electrical Company The lighting specialists At Multiload Technology we design and produce an exciting range of electronic control systems, dimmers, LED drivers and low voltage transformers for lighting professionals. Our products are user friendly, easy to install, simple to maintain and incredibly reliable. They are, quite literally, ‘fit and forget’ systems.
light: it pays to be in control doing things differently ... why lighting professionals choose Multiload products Easy installation Totally safe As our control products are based on universal 0-10V signalling, they are easy for any electrical contractor to wire using standard alarm cable for the signals: no need for expensive data cable or special measures to avoid signal corruption. Safety is one of our key features.
applications The right lighting can create intimacy, highlight architectural features, cast an enticing glow over a retail display and pinpoint key paintings in an art gallery. It can also welcome church congregations, enthrall concert goers and inspire landscape gardeners. The possibilities are endless and every project is unique.

With the correct controls and our drive units perfect stabilised light levels can be achieved to preserve and protect fragile exhibits.
products MoodMaker Scene Setting System Intelligent lighting control – made simple MoodMaker is a sophisticated scene setting lighting system which is easy to install, user-friendly and highly reliable. Without microprocessors and memory chips, which are so susceptible to corruption, MoodMaker offers a totally unique and fresh approach to lighting controls, which puts you in control of the installation. MoodMaker provides four moods plus full on and off (ie.
MoodMaker Set-up Unit MoodMaker Scene Select Wallplates Simple manual operation and adjustment Product order codes Wallplate: MMWP / XX Light levels. The light level for each mood is set up on its own finger-adjustable preset, with an LED lit above the adjusters column to show the mood selected on the wallplate. (where XX denotes finish specified – see standard finishes below) Fade times. Three adjusters set the fade times between moods, plus full on and off. These can be set from 1 – 60 seconds.
Level Select Rotary Dimming Controls Single channel brightness level selection The missing link for gridplate systems Product order codes LS4/XX: 4 levels and off LS2/XX:: 2 levels and off (where XX denotes finish specified – see below) Level Select wallplate is a controller for a single-channel of lighting, housed in a single-gang wallplate with various finish options. A rotary knob selects between either one of four preset levels and off (LS4), or one of two preset levels and off (LS2).
Rotary Push Switches RPS Rotary Push Controls RPC For direct dimming and switching of drive units For retrofit and multiple control positions Product order codes RPS1 RPS2 RPS3 Manufacturer and finish to be specified RPS Modules provide the signal for, and directly switch the mains supply to 0 -10V or 1 -10V drive units, such as: LED drivers; fluorescent ballasts; low voltage transformers, including VoltMaster (p10); neon and argon transformers; and the Analogue Mains Dimmer AD2500 (p11) for mains dimm
products that provide solutions Great design demands exceptional technical expertise regardless of whether the installation is straightforward or complicated. The installations featured on this page, the new Renaissance Hotel St. Pancras, and the total refurbishment of St. Patricks Church, are not only visually stunning, but cater for the need to ‘future proof’ by allowing lamps to be replaced with new light sources, eg. LEDs and plasma, at such time that they are considered to be acceptable.
LEDPowerPlant Constant voltage LED driver Product order codes Low voltage signal version: LEDPP240/24/LVS; LEDPP240/12/LVS Switching isolated signal version: LEDPP240/24/SIS; LEDPP240/12/SIS Extremely reliable power supply for linear LEDs which will outlast more than a few generations of LED sources. LED PowerPlant gives a truly stabilised DC voltage for 24V (rating 240W) or 12V (rating 240W) LED sources, which run at their best at the nominal voltage. Other voltage outputs are available on request.
VoltMaster ‘Intelligent Transformer’ Intelligent transformer for low voltage lighting Product order codes IP20: Standard 12V 0-10V signal: VMD300/12/YY VMD300/YY Standard 24V 0-10V signal: VMD400/12/YY Extended distance version: VMDE300/12/YY IP66: Add Prefix EXT-: EXT-VMD400/12/YY EXT-VMDE300/12/YY Where YY = SO: single outlet; MO: multiple outlet For DALI and DSI signal types add additional suffix /DALI or /DSI VoltMaster is the only true voltage stabilised power supply for 12V and 24V AC low voltage li
Analogue Mains Dimmer Lamp Conserver AD2500 MLC Product order code AD2500 Product order codes MLC2500 Dimmer version: MLC2500DIM plus Push Switch Rotary MRM/XX (where XX denotes finish) Multiload’s Analogue Mains Dimmer uses unique dimming technology, proven over a decade, to create a professional high power mains dimmer rated up to 10A.
Contactor Controller Take Control MCC MTC Product order codes Product order codes MCC/DIN MCC/SA Multiload Contactor Controller (MCC) accepts a 0 -10V signal from a Rotary Push Control (RPC, p7), Take Control (right) or 0-10V lighting system (eg. MoodMaker, p4) and provides a boosted signal for up to 25 standard drive units, such as LED drivers and fluorescent ballasts. When the signal is taken below 1V it switches off the mains supply to the load via an internal relay rated at 10A.
Concealed Door Sensor +44 (0) 20 7794 9152 CDS Product order code CDS A fully concealed door operated switch for hinged or sliding doors, which enables the opening and closing of the doors to operate lighting or other equipment (such as fans). The Concealed Door Sensor comprises three component parts: a switch sensor, a switch activator disc and a control box. The sensor and activator disc are recess mounted in the door and frame and can be concealed with veneer or paint.
