When the terminal has power and an application is loaded, the application starts
after the initial VeriFone copyright screen. If no application is loaded,
DOWNLOAD
NEEDED
appears on the display after the initial VeriFone copyright screen.
To Connect the
Terminal to the Power
Source
1 Insert the mini USB connector to the mini USB port found on the side of the
terminal.
2 Plug the AC power cord into a wall outlet or power surge protector.

Base Stations
VeriFone ships variants of the base station for different markets. Your base may
have a different configuration.
Charging Base
A charging base to charge the terminal and provide a docking station when the
terminal is not in use. The base can be positioned on a countertop.
