Introduction to
:SBUS<n>
Commands
The :SBUS subsystem commands control the serial decode bus viewing, mode,
and other options.
The following serial bus decode/trigger types are available (see ":TRIGger:MODE"
on page 598).
• CAN (Controller Area Network) triggering— will trigger on CAN version 2.0A
and 2.0B signals. Setup consists of connecting the oscilloscope to a CAN
signal. Baud rate, signal source, and signal polarity, and type of data to trigger
on can be specified. You can trigger on CAN data and identifier patterns and
you can set the bit sample point.
• IIC (Inter-IC bus) triggering— consists of connecting the oscilloscope to the
serial data (SDA) line and the serial clock (SCL) line, then triggering on a
stop/start condition, a restart, a missing acknowledge, or on a read/write frame
with a specific device address and data value.
• LIN (Local Interconnect Network) triggering— will trigger on LIN sync break at
the beginning of a message frame. You can trigger on Sync Break, Frame IDs, or
Frame IDs and Data.
NOTE
These commands are only valid on oscilloscope models when a serial decode option has been
licensed.
