Volk Direct Contact and Laser Treatment Lenses
Centralis Direct
®
Volk’s Centralis Direct
®
laser lens provides a direct upright image of
the posterior segment of the eye. Utilising a unique solid methyl
methacrylate optic with a bonded protective glass LaserWindow
®
exterior, this special optical design eliminates filament reflection
common to other lower profile fundus lenses. The Centralis Direct
®
lens also features an aspheric corneal contact design for improved
fit and manoeuvrability, visible wavelength and laser beam
transmission exceeding 99% and the convenience of a knurled
grip area extending beyond the orbital margin for easier handling.
Fundus Laser Lens
An advanced Fundus laser lens designed with Volk’s patented
Double Aspheric optics for superior high magnification viewing and
treatment of the optic nerve head and macula.
State-of-the-art computer designed aspheric optics provide improved
performance over existing fundus lens designs. The Volk Fundus
laser lens comes standard with LaserWindow
®
for optimal laser
beam transmission and imaging element protection. This unique
feature also creates a “closed” system - protecting the imaging
element from dirt, oils and debris - ensuring precise laser placement.
Capsulotomy Lens
Laser capsulotomy procedures are now greatly improved with
Volk’s patented Double Aspheric Capsulotomy laser lens. This new
lens promotes precise and focused laser beam placement at the
capsular bag. This new aspheric design comes standard with a
LaserWindow
®
for optimal laser beam transmission.
