Instructions for Installing SCR Cabinet

The installation of a SCR cabinet requires a countertop
support attached to the wall. Apply a 1x2 or 1x3 wood
strip to the wall at the predetermined reference line
for base cabinets. Apply the wood strip to both corner
walls at right angles. They should be screwed or nailed
to the wall studs to provide adequate support for your
new countertop.
Use the provided foot clips to
secure the toe kick to the adjustable
feet of the SCR36 cabinet. Install
the feet clips by marking the center
of the foot on the toe kick and
securing the clip one inch down
from the top of the toe kick. The
clip will then press on to the foot.
NOTE: Adhesives can also be used to secure the toe kick to the
adjustable feet.
STEP 1
Place the SCR and adjoining cabinets into position.
Turn the bottom of the foot to adjust the cabinet until it is
level. Use the standard cabinet installation instructions
for properly nishing the installation of the cabinets.
NOTE: It is recommended that you fasten at least one base cabinet in both directions
to the SCR cabinet. If there is a gap between the cabinet and the countertop, it is
recommended that you fasten the face frame to the countertop. Place the SCR cabinet
into position and do not drag across the oor.
With the SCR laying down, insert the provided adjustable
feet into the predrilled holes. Screw the feet to the bottom
of the cabinet with the supplied #6 x 3/8” screws.
NOTE: Extra support for the toe kick can be provided by securing extra wood
support blocks from making the counter top support to the bottom of the cabinet
where the toe kick will meet in the corner.
