• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire. • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious personal injury: BATTERY PACK For Use Only With 20LFC19 Charger. • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer and listed in this manual. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
• Do not disassemble charger. Take it to a qualified service center for check or replacement. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire. • Do not abuse the charger cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging. • Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock. If the charger cord is damaged, replace the charger with an identical model as listed in this manual.

INSTALLING SHOULDER STRAP A removable shoulder strap has been included for your convenience. To install the shoulder strap, follow the instructions below. Insert one side of the shoulder strap into the groove on the toolbox cover, and put the other side into the slot (Fig. 6). 6 GENERAL OPERATION INSTALLING & REMOVING BATTERY PACK 1. STARTING/STOPPING THE WET/DRY VACUUM To turn on the wet/dry vacuum, flip the switch to the 'I' ON position. To turn off the wet/dry vacuum, flip the switch to the 'O' OFF position (Fig. 11). 11 DRY VACUUM OPERATION WARNING: BE SURE TO READ, UNDERSTAND, AND APPLY, INFORMATION ENTITLED ‘SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS & WARNINGS’. DO NOT VACUUM IN AREAS WITH FLAMMABLE GASES, VAPORS, OR EXPLOSIVE DUSTS IN THE AIR.
LIQUID VACUUM OPERATION Note: The provided filter can be used for both wet and dry vacuum operation. 1. Verify that the cartridge filter is securely mounted ( Fig. 12). For installation instructions see page 15. 2. Insert the hose into the vacuum port (Fig. 13). 3. Push required accessories onto the free end of the hose or the extension wand (Fig. 14). 4. Make sure the battery pack is correctly installed (Fig. 15). For installation instructions see page 10. 5.

Once you have completed blowing, turn the motor off by flipping the switch to the 'O' OFF position (Fig. 24). 6. Remove the battery and place it in the storage bay (Fig. 25).
EMPTYING & CLEANING THE COLLECTION TANK 28 29 1. Verify that the battery has been removed from the operational battery bay (Fig. 28). 2. Disconnect the hose from the vacuum. 3. Undo the latches and remove the power head from the collection tank. 4. Clear all dirt or debris from the collection tank and clean with mild soap and water. Allow to dry before replacing the power head (Fig. 29). STORAGE Before storing your vacuum cleaner, the collection tank should be emptied and cleaned.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA CORREA PARA EL HOMBRO Para su conveniencia, se incluye una correa extraíble para el hombro. OPERACIÓN DE ASPIRADO EN MOJADO Nota: El filtro incluido puede usarse para aspirar en seco o mojado. 1. Verifique que el cartucho esté montado firmemente (Fig. 12). Para ver las instrucciones de instalación, consulte la página 15. 2. Inserte la manguera en el puerto de aspirado (Fig. 13). 3. Empuje los accesorios necesarios hacia el extremo libre de la manguera o vara de extensión (Fig. 14). 4. Asegúrese de que la batería esté instalada correctamente (Fig. 15).
