WARNING

Tools Required for Assembly (not included):

Electric drill, tap measure, level, 9/16 in. masonry

drill bit, 3/16 in. drill bit, Phillips screw, driverhack saw, hammer, .

• Incorrect or improper installation may cause harm to yourself and/or handrail.

CAUTION

• Do not mount to wood that is rotted or concrete / brick that is crumbling.

• Be sure you have selected the proper size:

Model# HRFS3 fit 2 or 3 steps , Model# HRFS4 fit 3 or 4 steps , Model# HRFS5 fit 4 or 5 steps

• check with local code standards prior to installation

Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and

hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.

How to Measure Model# HRFS4 Model# HRFS5 Position the tip of the Tape Measure onto the center of the lower flange post and extend the measurement to the center of the upper flange post. Note Handrail illustrations: Flange post spacing and positioning is based on the model of handrail purchased. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Begin by positioning the base cover (DD) onto each flange post (C). Next insert both ends of middle rail (B) into each of the Flange Post (C) mounting pockets.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 3. Insert each end of the top rail (A) onto the top of each flange post (C) making sure that the flange post and upper rail pilot holes are in alignment. 3 A C 4. Fasten top rail (A) to flange post (C) with two of the #8 x 5/8“ self-tapping screws (AA) provided for each post. Note: Do not tighten firmly at this point. 4 A AA C 5. Position assembled handrail onto the center of the steps at previously marked locations. 5 6.
