4. INPUT ( XLR/TRS SOCKET )
Connect your mixer, cd player, minidisc or a computer sound card)
5. MID BOOST SELECTOR
Two selections are available for the Mid-Boost, ‘In’ and ‘Out’.
The ‘Out’ setting produces a flat frequency response curve, while the ‘In’
setting gives an added boost to mid-range frequencies.
6. POWER CONNECTOR
Connect the AC cable provided with the set.
7. POWER SWITCH
Press this switch to turn the power on or off. Before operating this switch, make
sure that all controls are set at minimum position.
8. LEVEL CONTROL
To adjust the volume of the speaker.
9. ACCOUSTIC SPACE
The Acoustic Space switch has 3 positions:
- Half space: speakers are against the wall, 0dB position
- Three-Quarter space: speakers are in corners or close to the wall, -2dB position
- Full space: speakers are away from the wall, -4dB position
10. HIGH FREQ
Three settings are possible, -2dB, 0dB, and +2dB.
0dB is a setting with no attenuation, while the -2dB and +2dB settings will
enhance or boost high frequencies.
11. LOW CUT
This 3-position switch sets the bass frequency.
The lowest setting, 56Hz, is essentially a low cutoff b
ypass as it does not attenuate
the USB 7490’s frequency response. Other settings are 80Hz and 100Hz.
