Cleaning anD Care
18. Take care that the power cord is not
squeezed and does not hang over the
standing surface. This may cause accidents
if children pull at the cord.
19. The appliance is not provided for permanent
use or as a substitute for a standard house-
hold refrigerator. Due to the cooling in
de-pendence of the ambient temperature
the appliance is not recommended for
cooling of sensible products, e. g. medicine.
20. Check the plug and power cord regularly for
wear and damage. In case of a fault, please
send the appliance for inspection/repair
to our after sales service (address see last
page). Inadequate repair may constitute a
risk for the user and result in the loss of
guarantee.
1. The appliance is provided for heating and
cooling. In the cooling mode the tempera-
ture is reduced by approx. 15/20 °C below
the ambient temperature. In the heating
mode, the temperature inside the appliance
is increased by about 15/20 °C over the
ambient temperature, maximum tempera-
ture being 65 °C.
ATTENTION!
The appliance is not provided for permanent
operation or as substitute of a standard hou-
sehold refrigerator.
2. The Cooler is supplied with two different
cables for connection either to a 230 V~.
power outlet or a 12 V~ DC cigarette lighter
outlet.
3. First connect the respective cable to the cor-
responding socket of the appliance.
4. Then connect the cable to the cigarette ligh-
ter outlet or power outlet.
5. When changing the operation mode from
HOT to COLD or reverse always switch first
into middle position OFF, wait about 5 minu-
tes, then switch into the desired operation
mode.

7. In COLD mode the green control lamp is
lighting, in HOT mode the red control light.
8. To open the door, pull the handle slightly
towards yourself and pull the door slightly
to the front.
9. To close the door, pull the handle slightly to
yourself, close the door and let the handle
go.
10. Please take care, that the door is closed
during operation resp. is only opened shortly
to put in or take out food.
11. Switch to OFF and pull plug out of the ciga-
rette lighter resp. power outlet, whenever the
appliance is empty and not in use.
12. To transport the appliance, use the handle.
13. ATTENTION!
14. In the heating mode the inside temperature
is up to 65 °C. Use protective means such as
oven cloth or towels when taking out drinks
etc. to avoid burns.
15. In the cooling mode the temperature inside
may fall under 0 °C in case of low ambient
temperatures. Thus, the appliance is not fit-
ted for cooling of sensible products such as
medicine.
16. ATTENTION!
If the appliance is operated through the
cigarette lighter outlet of the car, energy
may be taken from the car battery as long
as the plug is in the outlet, even if the
motor is switched off. In order to avoid any
discharging of the car battery, you should
pull the plug out of the socket, whenever
the motor stops running for a longer period.
Please check the operating mode of your car.
The temperature inside the appliance is kept
for about 1 hour, provided that the door is
not opened frequently.
1. Switch off the appliance (switch position
OFF) and pull the plug out of the socket
resp. cigarette lighter.
2. Let the appliance cool down.
3. Never immerse the appliance in water.
4. Wipe the surface inside and outside with a
damp cloth with some drops of mild clean-
ser. Dry thoroughly. Never use any abrasive
cleansers or sponges.
