Timber Stoves Safety Cage

1. Unpack all parts and lay out panels. Remove all vinyl from parts.
2. Assemble the two bottom right and left pre assembled panels to the
middle baffle pan using three ¼-20 x ½” bolts. Front of the pan is
marked.
Lay right bottom panel face first on a non abrasive surface.
The middle baffle pan assembles with the flat side of the pan facing the base.
Assemble the middle baffle pan to the right side panel using four ¼-20 x ½” bolts.
Stand upright and install the bottom left panel.
Attach the left bottom panel to the opposing side.
3. Place partially assembled cage onto patio heater. Attach using 1/4x1/2” bolts.
4. Install the solid back bottom panel by inserting over the hopper and onto frame between
the hopper and stove using 10/32x1/2” bolts.
5. Install the two door hinges to the frame of the heater using 10/32x1/2” bolts with
k-nuts(nuts with star shape on them).
6. Install door and door latch receiver (hook shaped latch with slot facing up and one hole)
using 10/32x1/2” bolts and k-nuts. Best to keep the hardware loose before tightening all
hardware on hinges.
7. Attach top left side panel to horseshoe shaped top collar. Opening faces back. Pan faces
down, flat side up. Tuck the top mesh into the interior side of the horseshoe shaped collar
and the bottom mesh into the interior of the middle baffle pan..
8. Attach top right side panel to horseshoe shaped collar using ¼ x 1/2 “ bolts. Tuck the
top mesh into the interior side of the horseshoe shaped collar and the bottom mesh into
the interior of the middle baffle pan.
