Use and care manual for the DTA Wedge Lippage
System
The DTA Lippage Levelling Systems are designed to create a
lippage free surface when tiling by preventing the
movement of tiles during the drying process.
The Wedge Levelling System comprises of 3 parts; wedge,
spacer and gun. The spacer is placed under the tile with
the wedge pushed through the spacer to secure it, using
the gun to tighten. The pressure applied between the
wedge and the spacer provides a lip free finish. This system
is ideal for both walls and floors.
Install Instructions;
1. Determine your width of your joint grout line
and use the appropriate size spacer.
2. Place the spacer under the tile Place your
spacers under the tile.
3. Be sure to use the lippage on all the corners
and more along the sides of the tile for larger
pieces.
4. Slide the wedge into the spacer.
5. Tighten with wedge lippage tool.
6. Once the thin set has dried remove with a
mallet or kick off with foot.
7. Reuse the wedges over and over again.
Spacers are a single use item.
