Instructions / Assembly

WARNING! This is NOT a safety cover to help prevent drowning.
WARNING! Do NOT walk or stand on cover or ice that may form on the cover.
WARNING! Ensure there is no access to the pool once the cover is installed.
IMPORTANT: Ensure there are no sharp edges present that may rip the cover prior to installing the cover.
IMPORTANT: Ensure proper winterization of the pool and its equipment is completed prior to installing the cover.
1.Ensure the air pillow is secured to the sides of the pool so that it stays in
the middle of the pool, leaving some slack in the pillow ties to allow for
some movement.
2.Weave the cable through the eyelets of the cover in an over/under pattern
as shown (Fig. 1).
3.Ensure any sharp edges are covered to protect the winter cover (Ex. use
masking tape).
4.Guide the cover over the pool so that it overhangs all sides of the pool
evenly (about 12").
5.Feed the two ends of the cable through the winch, one cable on each side
(L and R) and then through the center hole (C) as shown, one through the
top and one through the bottom of (C) (Fig. 2).
6.Pull each end of the cable to tighten against the sides of the pool and then
rotate the winch handle in a clockwise direction to firmly hold the cable and
cover in place.
7.Do NOT pull the cover tightly, allow it to hang around the center pillow as
shown (Fig. 3).
NOTE: The locking clip will hold the winch in the tightened position. If cable
needs to be loosened, turn the handle clockwise 1/4 turn and lift the locking
clip to unravel the coiled cable.
