Products manufactured by Special Lite Products Co. Inc. are manufactured from
rust free aluminum with a durable scratch-resistant powder coated finish.
To Clean: Use a soft cloth with non abrasive multi-purpose cleaner.
If product would scratch use a similar color spray paint or contact Special Lite
Products Co. Inc. directly for a container of touch up paint.
IF PRODUCT HAS AN ANTIQUE FINISH THAT NEEDS REPAINTED:
ANTIQUE PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Take a wire brush and remove any loose paint and
surface oxidation (residue).
2. Use a clean rag to wipe down and remove any loose dirt or residue.
3. Use black exterior grade paint and apply to cleaned area.
4. After the spray paint dries apply the antique finish.
(see steps below on how to apply the antique finish)
HOW TO APPLY ANTIQUE FINISH:
Materials Needed
• Any Standard Paint Brush
• 12” x 12” Piece of Scrap Cardboard
1. Dip only 1/8” of your paintbrush into the antiquing paint.
2. Rapidly stroke wet brush onto cardboard to remove 80% - 90%
of the excess paint. (creating a dry brush)
3. Lightly stroke the fixture with the paintbrush until you achieve
the desired shade.
