The Koni Cement Tile Series is long lasting with proper maintenance and routine care. When sealed correctly,
Koni Cement tiles can be cleaned with average household cleaners that are pH balanced and non-acidic.
Please note, using any acid-based cleaners will damage the surface of the Koni Cement tiles.
Sweep and mop floors regularly. Substances such as oil, wine, soda, and oxides will stain Koni Cement tile, so
clean any spills as quickly as possible.
For backsplashes and areas that are heavily greased, cleaning with a de-greaser and gently scrubbing the
surface clean is recommended to be performed regularly. Do not use any harsh wire sponges on the surface
of Koni Cement tiles, this will damage the surface.
Over time Koni Cement tiles will need to be re-sealed. In the lifetime of an installation and dependent on the
daily wear and tear, on average, re-sealing Koni Cement tiles may be between 3 – 10 years. Check with the
sealant manufacturer for the recommended timeframe.
