Installation Location ➢ Select a location at least 6 inches or more after the main shutoff for the installation of the FL-1000 sensor. Make sure that the location you select in the main line after the shutoff valve is before the pipe branches off. Mounting and Installation (It is Strongly advised to contract a certified plumber) 1. Locate and shut off the main valve that feeds the water to the house. See diagram 1 2. Cut a two inch piece out of the PEX water pipe. See diagram 2 3.

Step 1: Connect to the FL-1000 as a WIFI network: While standing within 50 feet of the FL-1000 unit with a smart device. Look for local WIFI network named FL-1000_xxxxxx = the last four characters of the specific FL-1000’s MAC address. Example: FL-1000_030768. See Diagram 1 Below.
Registering the FL-1000 on the Server The Server sign up screen will appear (See Diagram 9 Below). Click on “Create An Account” This will bring you to the sign up screen. Fill out the “User Information” and “Location Information” and “Leak Detector Information” forms (See Diagram 10 Below). When you fill out the “Leak Detector Information” form enter the Mac Address you saved from the previous page leaving out the colons. E.g. 8301B8 . Enter the serial number as 12345.
Logging on to your account on the FL-1000 on the Server Open up the APP and select “Register”. You will be directed to your “My Account” screen (See Diagram 11 Below). From this screen you can manage your “Profile” (See Diagram 12 Below).
Configuring the FL-1000 on the Server From this screen you can manage your “Locations” (See Diagram 13 Below). From this screen you can manage your “Leak Detector Information” (See Diagram 14 Below). From this screen you can manage your “Leak Detector Reports” you can also print out the reports in Excel or PDF format. (See Diagram 15 Below).
FL-1000 User Interface Configure Button- This button will bring you to the configuration page. See next page. Freeze Set Point- The temperature that is set by user. When the water Temperature goes below this value an alarm is triggered and an email and or a text are sent. Leak Detection Status- This acknowledges that the leak detection function is enable currently.. Leak Alarm Status- This is triggered when a leak is detected. An email and or a text are sent.
FL-1000 Configuration Page Basic Info-This menu is where you configure the name of your device, the temperature units, and the setpoint at which you would like the freeze alarm to trigger. Leak Detection Interval 1,2,3-These windows are where you set up your time scheduling for the automatic leak detection. Three windows are available. Wireless Setup- This menu is where you configure and connect to your home local WIFI network.
FL-1000 User APP The APP can be downloaded for free at www.FL1000.com/?????? and used to Access the specific controller locally via the local FL-1000 user interface access point or globally over the internet.

Troubleshooting No Can you see the FL-1000 network on your smart device The unit is defective. Yes Can you connect to the FL1000 network with your smart device No Reboot the FL-1000 If after rebooting the unit you still cannot see the FL-1000 network or connect to it the unit is defective. Yes Try to connect to the FL-1000 User Interface.
