Use provided wrench to secure rosette
Install Face Plate
Install the face plate (part C)
by using 2 of 4 provided wood screws (part H)
Insert spindle into the latch
Install
Rosette
Pull and Turn the latch tang
to adjust opening direction ( see drawing )
Pull
Turn
Remove “O” ring from
the spindle
Install Handles

Locate the small round thread opening on the side of
the latch (part I) Position the latch with the thread facing
inside the privacy room. Insert the latch (part I) into the
edge bore (see drawing) If the latch plate is not flush
completely, slightly adjust the size of the mortise opening.
Use provided screws
to secure both
handles together
Make sure to hold latch and both handles in correct
position before tightening them up. Use provided longer
screws (part G) to secure both handles together.
Install the rosette, sliding the part back over the
handle and securing it in place by tightening the screw
with provided wrench (part D)
Make sure to align privacy pin
hole on handle and rosette.
Make sure this side with
thread goes inside privacy room
Insert the spindle (part J) into the latch making sure
that the part with the groove goes inside the privacy room.
Insert the O-ring (part E) back on the installed spindle,
securing the part into the grove. (see drawing )
Remove the O-ring (part E) from the spindle (part J),
locate the part on the spindle that has a small circular
groove. Position the end with the groove facing
inside the privacy room (see drawing)
Install Privacy Pin (part F) by inserting and screwing
in the pin into the opening on the side of privacy room.

Remove the square rosette from one handle (the unit that
has 4 long prongs - 2 square alignment bars and 2 round
tube screw mounts) Use provided wrench (part D) to
loosen a mounting screw before separating the rosette
from the handle.
Position handles on both side of the door making sure
that the handle without the rosette goes into the
privacy room. Connect two handles, locking together
from both sides the long round prongs

function only :
1. Position, insert the white plastic dust cover (part A) into
the opening on the door frame. 2. Position the strike plate
(part B) over the dust cover, align both parts and install
with two wood screws (part H)

Please note, Privacy function only: In case of emergency the door can be easily
unlocked from the outside by inserting the provided L shape wrench/release pin
(part D) into a small opening on the Rosette. Please remember to keep the L
wrench /release pin (part D) in a secure location and in close proximity of the door,
so the wrench could be easily used as a release pin when needed.
