When inserted, the MP3 menu screen appears
automatically depending on the MP3 disc’s folder
(directory) structure as shown to the below.

Stop/Pause Playback
Pause Playback
Press the PAUSE (II) button during playback.
Press the PLAY button again to return to normal
playback.

Stop Playback
Press the STOP button to stop playback.
E.A.M. (Enhanced Audio Mode)
Each press of the E.A.M. button changes the
sound option as indicated below:
: Off
→→
Concert
→→
Living room
→→
Hall
→→
Shower
→→
Arena.

Press the E.A.M. button during playback.

- Used to simulate multi-channel sound from just two
speakers without the need to add extra speakers or
equipment
- You can play a specific track repeatedly.
Repeat playback
Press the REPEAT button during playback.
Each time you press the REPEAT button, the
repeat mode changes in the following order:
: Repeat Track
→→
Repeat Directory
→→
Off

A-B repeat playback
Press the REPEAT A-B button to select the start
point during playback. “ A” is displayed on the
TV screen and the starting point of your selected
segment is set up.

Press the REPEAT A-B button again to select the
end point. “ AB” is displayed on the TV screen
and the ending point is set up.
Playback starts at the point that you selected.
Playback stops at the end point, returns to Point A
automatically, then starts again.

Repeatedly press the REPEAT A-B button until
“Off” appears on the screen to resume normal
playback.

- A-B repeat playback allows you to repeat material
between two selected points.
Playable files
MP3/WMA disc compatibility with this player is limited as folllows:
• Playable discs: CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW
• Sampling Frequency: MP3: 11 kHz, 16 kHz, 32 kHz, 44,1 kHz, 48 kHz
WMA: 44,1 kHz, 48 kHz
• Bit rate: MP3: 32 kbps - 320 kbps (CBR)
WMA: 64 kbps - 192 kbps(CBR)
• CD physical format: Mode 1
• File system: ISO9660, UDF without interleave
• File name: File names are limited to eight characters or less
and must incorporate “MP3” or “WMA” extension.
e.g.“********.MP3”, “********.WMA”
File names cannot contain special characters such
as “?!><+*}{`[@]:;\ /.,” etc.
Less than 50 bytes
• Total number of files: Less than 650
• WMA codec version: V2, V7, V8, V9 (Stereo sound only)
