Bluetooth connection preparation
Follow the procedure below to make preparations for a Bluetooth connec-
tion.
1. Tap the Bluetooth icon .
When you use Bluetooth Settings for the first time or when a remote
device (connected partner) is deleted, a dialog box appears. Tap
OK
.
You can also display the Bluetooth Settings screen by tapping
Start
,
Programs
,
Bluetooth
, then
Bluetooth Settings
.
2. Tap the Bluetooth icon on the command bar or in the
Tools
men,
then
Devices

Search
.
Local Device searches for Bluetooth devices in the vicinity while a
message is displayed on the screen indicating that Local Device is
searching for peripheral devices. It may take several minutes to com-
plete the device search. Once the search is completed, the remote
device list is updated with the latest remote device information.
If the Bluetooth icon no longer appears in the program
menu, it can be recovered by executing following pro-
gram in Explorer:
\windows\bt_rescue.exe
