Config View

Each field is described in the table below:

Field Description

Firmware This field gives the firmware version of the physical drive.

Status This field gives the status of the physical drive. (online or

offline)

Errors This field gives the number of errors in the physical drive.

S.M.A.R.T.

Status

This field gives the S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring Analysis

and Reporting Technology) status of the physical drive. The

options for this are Disabled , OK, or Error. Disabled means

S.M.A.R.T. is off and physical drive does not collect statisti-

cal data. OK means S.M.A.R.T. is on and no errors found.

Error status means S.M.A.R.T. is on and some errors found,

this is serious warning that drive has to be replaced.

Logical Drive Not Available

Capacity This field gives the capacity of this physical drive.

Transfer Mode This field gives the type of transfer mode used on this physi-

cal drive.

Part of Array This field gives the part of the array that this physical drive

belongs to.

Connection This field gives the type of IDE connection that is used to

connect this drive to the RAID controller. (primary or second-

ary, master or slave)

Model This field gives the model number of the physical drive.

Serial Number This field gives the serial number of the physical drive.
