14.

Place the shift forks in neutral and remove first

the

low and reverse shift rail and fork assembly,

then the 2nd and high shift rail and fork assem-

bly, being careful not to lose the two stop balls,

spring and stop pin as they are released. Fig-

ure

Remove

the

reverse idler shaft and the input

shaft and gear.

shaft may sometimes stick in the

left

hand
