chemicalburn.Donotdisassemblethebatterypack.Donotheat

thebatterypackabove68°C(154°F)orincinerateit.Replacethe

batterypackwithagenuineT orobatterypackonly;usinganother

typeofbatterypackmaycauseareorexplosion.Keepbattery

packsoutofthereachofchildrenandintheoriginalpackaginguntil

youarereadytousethem.

I.Training

1.Donotallowchildrenoruntrainedpeopletooperateorservicethis

device.Allowonlypeoplewhoareresponsible,trained,familiarwith

theinstructions,andphysicallycapabletooperateorservicethe

device.

2.Donotallowchildrentouseorplaywiththebatterypackorbattery

charger;localregulationsmayrestricttheageoftheoperator.

II.Preparation

1.Useappliancesonlywithspecicallydesignatedbatterypacks.

Usingothertypesofbatterypacksmaycreateariskofinjuryand/or

re.

2.Donotuseadamagedormodiedbatterypackorbatterycharger.

Itmayexhibitunpredictablebehavior,resultinginre,explosion,

orriskofinjury.

3.Ifthesupplycordtothebatterychargerisdamaged,contactan

AuthorizedServiceDealertoreplaceit.

III.Operation

1.Donotusenon-rechargeablebatteries.

2.Chargethebatterypackwithonlythebatterychargerspeciedby

Toro.Achargersuitablefor1typeofbatterypackmaycreatearisk

ofrewhenusedwithanotherbatterypack.

3.Chargethebatterypackinawell-ventilatedareaonly.

4.Donotexposeabatterypackorbatterychargertoreorto

temperatureshigherthan100°C(212°F).

5.Followallcharginginstructionsanddonotchargethebatterypack

outsideofthetemperaturerangespeciedintheinstructions.
