System(ROPS)
TheROPSisanintegralandeffectivesafety
device.KeeptheROPSintheraisedandlocked
positionandusetheseatbeltwhenoperatingthe
machine.
LowertheROPStemporarilyonlywhenabsolutely
necessary.Donotweartheseatbeltwhenthe
ROPSisfoldeddown.
Beawarethereisnorolloverprotectionwhenthe
ROPSisinthedownposition.
Becertainthattheseatbeltcanbereleased
quicklyintheeventofanemergency.
Checktheareatobemowedandneverfolddown
theROPSinareaswherethereareslopes,drop
offsorwater.
Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances(i.e.
branches,doorways,electricalwires)before
drivingunderanyobjectsanddonotcontactthem.
KeeptheROPSinsafeoperatingconditionby
periodicallythoroughlyinspectingfordamageand
keepingallmountingfastenerstight.
ReplaceadamagedROPS.Donotrepairor
revise.
DonotremovetheROPS.
AnyalterationstoaROPSmustbeapprovedby
themanufacturer.
Donotmowslopesgreaterthan15degrees.
Service
Donotstorethemachineorafuelcontainerinside
wherethereisanopename,suchasneara
waterheaterorfurnace.
Keepthenutsandboltstight,especiallythe
blade-attachmentbolts.
Neverinterferewiththeintendedfunctionofa
safetydeviceorreducetheprotectionprovided
byasafetydevice.Checktheirproperoperation
regularly.
Tobestprotectyourinvestmentandmaintain
optimalperformanceofyourToroequipment,count
