mustknow.
Thisproductiscapableofamputatinghandsand
feet,andofthrowingobjects.Alwaysfollowallsafety
instructionstoavoidseriousinjuryordeath.
Thisproductisdesignedforcuttingandrecycling
grass,or,whenequippedwithagrassbagger,for
catchingcutgrass.Anyuseforpurposesother
thanthesecouldprovedangeroustotheuserand
bystanders.
UsingtheRollover-Protection
System(ROPS)
•TheROPSisanintegralandeffectivesafety
device.KeeptheROPSintheraisedandlocked
positionandusetheseatbeltwhenoperatingthe
machine.
•LowertheROPStemporarilyonlywhenabsolutely
necessary.Donotweartheseatbeltwhenthe
ROPSisfoldeddown.
•Beawarethereisnorolloverprotectionwhenthe
ROPSisinthedownposition.
•Becertainthattheseatbeltcanbereleased
quicklyintheeventofanemergency.
•Checktheareatobemowedandneverfolddown
theROPSinareaswherethereareslopes,drop
offsorwater.
•Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances(i.e.
branches,doorways,electricalwires)before
drivingunderanyobjectsanddonotcontactthem.
•KeeptheROPSinsafeoperatingconditionby
periodicallythoroughlyinspectingfordamageand
keepingallmountingfastenerstight.
•ReplaceadamagedROPS.Donotrepairor
revise.
•DonotremovetheROPS.
•AnyalterationstoaROPSmustbeapprovedby
themanufacturer.
•Donotmowslopesgreaterthan15degrees.
Service
•Donotstorethemachineorafuelcontainerinside
wherethereisanopename,suchasneara
waterheaterorfurnace.
•Keepthenutsandboltstight,especiallythe
blade-attachmentbolts.
•Neverinterferewiththeintendedfunctionofa
safetydeviceorreducetheprotectionprovided
byasafetydevice.Checktheirproperoperation
regularly.
•Tobestprotectyourinvestmentandmaintain
optimalperformanceofyourToroequipment,count
onTorogenuineparts.Whenitcomestoreliability,
Torodeliversreplacementpartsdesignedtothe
exactengineeringspecicationsofourequipment.
Forpeaceofmind,insistonTorogenuineparts.
