Mower Spindle
Disassembly (Refer to Figure 14)
1. Clamp the spindle for service by placing the spindle shaft in a vise.
2. Remove the nut (J) and washer (I) from the top of the pulley.
3. Remove the pulley (E).
4. Remove the shaft (D) from the spindle housing.
5. Remove the bearing shield (C).
6. Remove the bearing and the bearing spacer (A) from the top of the spindle housing.
7. Flip over the spindle housing and remove the lower bearing.
8. Inspect the inside of the spindle housing for wear or damage.
