installingthebearingseal.

9.Installthewasherandnut.Torquethetopnutto136-149N•m(105±5ft-lb).
MowerSpindleInstallation
Note:Verifythattheundersideofthedeckiscleanbeforeproceedingwiththe
spindleinstallation.
1.Positionthespindleagainstthedeckandalignthemountingholes.
2.Install6spindlemountingscrews.Torqueto14-19N•m(12±2ft-lb).
Note:Spindlemountingscrewsarethreadforming.Donotreusespindle
mountingscrews.
3.InstalltheBellevillewasherwiththeconcavesidefacingthecuttingblade,
installthebladebolt.Torquethebladeboltto136-149N•m(105±5ft-lb).
4.Installthemowerbelt.MowerBeltReplacement(page6–6)
5.Installthemowerbeltcovers.
6.Connectthebatterybyinstallingthepositivecablerst,thenthenegative
cabletothebattery.
LevelingtheMowerDeck
1.ParkthemachineonaatlevelsurfaceanddisengagethePTO.Stopthe
engine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,andremovethekey.
2.Disconnectthebatterybyremovingthenegativecablerst,thenthepositive
cablefromthebattery.
3.Checktoensurethatalltiresareproperlyinatedandadjustasnecessary.
4.Positionthemowerdeckinthetransportposition.
5.Rotatethebladessothattheyareparalleltotherearofthedeck.
