1.ParkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethePTO.Stopthe
engine,waitforallmovingpartstostopandremovethekey.Engagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Raiseandsupporttheunitsothatthefrontwheelsareofftheground.
3.Removethecasterwheelfromthecasterfork.
4.Removethesealguardsfromthewheelhub.
5.Removeaspacernutfromtheaxleassembly.
Note:Threadlockingadhesivehasbeenappliedtolockthespacernuts
totheaxle.
6.Removetheaxlefromthewheelassemblywiththesecondspacernutstill
attached.
7.Pryoutthesealsandremovethebearings.
8.Inspectthebearingsforwearordamageandreplaceifnecessary.
Note:Bearingsealsmustbereplacedafterremoval.Donotreusebearing
seals.
CasterWheelAssembly
1.Ensurethatthewheeliscleanandfreeofdebrisorexcessivewear.
2.Packthe2taperedbearingswithgrease.
3.Insert1bearingandsealintothewheel.
4.Inserttheassembledspacernutandaxleintothewheel.
5.Withtheopenendofthewheelfacingup,lltheareainsidethewheel,
aroundtheaxle,fullofgrease.
6.Insertthesecondbearingandsealintothewheel.
