CheckingtheTirePressure
ServiceInterval:Every25hours—Checktire
pressure.
Maintaintheairpressureinthefrontandreartiresas
specied.Uneventirepressurecancauseanuneven
cut.Checkthepressureatthevalvestem(Figure48).
Checkthetireswhentheyarecoldtogetthemost
accuratepressurereading.
Refertothemaximumpressuresuggestedbythetire
manufactureronthesidewallofthecasterwheeltires.
Inatethereardrive-wheeltiresto90kPa(13psi).

Youcanmanuallyreleasetheelectricbrakeby
rotatingthelinkarmsforward.Oncetheelectricbrake
isenergized,thebrakeresets.
1.TurnthekeytotheOFFpositionandremove
thekey.
2.Disconnectthebattery.
3.Locatetheshaftontheelectricbrakewherethe
brakelinkarmsareconnected(Figure49).
4.Rotatetheshaftforwardtoreleasethebrake.
5.Connectthebatteryaftermovingthemachine.

AdjustingtheTracking
Whendrivingthemachineforwardfullspeedacross
aat,levelsurface,ifthemachinepullsto1side,
adjustthetracking.
Ifthemachinepullstotheleft,adjusttheright
motion-controllever;ifthemachinepullstotheright,
adjusttheleftmotion-controllever.
Note:Youcanonlyadjustthetrackingfordriving
forward.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andmovethe
motion-controlleversoutwardtothePARK
position.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Locatethetracking-adjustmentboltnearthe
motion-controlleverontheparticularsidethat
needsadjusting(Figure50).
Note:Raisetheseatforeasieraccesstothe
adjustmentbolt.
4.Rotatethebolttodecreasethespeedforthat
particularwheel.
Note:Rotatetheboltasmallamounttomake
minoradjustments.
