Assemble Upper End (Cont.)
Breather
1. Install the breather reed with the reed toward the engine block (Figure 24).
2. Torque bolt to 89 in-lbs. (10 Nm).
3. Install the breather sponge.
4. Install the new gasket and cover, secure with four bolts.
5. Torque the breather plate bolts to 89 in-lbs. (10 Nm).
