EachHydraulicSystemOilCapacity:52ounces
(1.5l)persidewithlterchange
CheckingtheHydraulicOil
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthe
hydraulicoillevel.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheneutral-lockedposition,andsetthe
parkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
4.Allowtheengineandhydraulicsystemtocool
for10minutes.
Note:Theoillevelonthedipstickwillbe
incorrectiftheoilischeckedwhenthemachine
ishot.
5.Movetheseatforward.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksofthe
hydraulicsystemreservoirs(Figure82).
7.Removeonedipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir
(Figure82).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickinto
thereservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure
82).
Note:Iftheoillevelisattheaddmark,slowly
pouronlyenoughoilintothehydraulicreservoir
toraisetheleveltothefullorHline.
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulic
unitswithoilasdamagemayoccur.Donot
runthemachinewiththeoilbelowtheadd
mark.
10.Installthedipstick.
11.Repeatprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.

holeleaksornozzlesthatejecthigh
pressurehydraulicoil.
•Usecardboardorpapertond
hydraulicleaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthe
hydraulicsystembeforeperforming
anyworkonthehydraulicsystem.
•Makesurethatallhydraulicoilhoses
andlinesareingoodconditionand
thatallhydraulicconnectionsand
ttingsaretightbeforeapplying
pressuretothehydraulicsystem.
