4.Removetheelectricalconnectionfromtheseat
safetyswitch,locatedunderthebottomcushion
oftheseat.
Note:Theswitchisapartoftheseatassembly.
5.Temporarilyinstallajumperwireacrossthe
terminalsintheconnectorofthemainwire
harness.
6.Starttheengineandrunitatfullthrottleand
disengagethebrake.
Note:Thebrakemustbeengagedandthe
motion-controlleversmustbeouttostart
theengine.Theoperatordoesnothaveto
beintheseat,becauseofthejumperwire
beingused.
7.Runtheunitforatleast5minuteswiththedrive
leversatfullforwardspeedtobringthehydraulic
uiduptotheoperatingtemperature.
Note:Themotion-controlleversneedsto
beinneutralwhilemakinganynecessary
adjustments.
8.Bringthemotion-controlleversintotheNEUTRAL
position.
9.Adjustthepumpcontrolrodlengthsbyrotating
thedoublenutsontherodintheappropriate
directionuntilthewheelsslightlycreepin
reverse(Figure87).

neutralwiththeparkbrakesdisengaged.
