5.Temporarilyinstallajumperwireacrosstheterminals
intheconnectorofthemainwiringharness.
6.Starttheengineandrunitatfullthrottleandrelease
thebrake.
Note:Thebrakemustbeengagedandthe
motion-controlleversmustbeouttostartthe
engine.Theoperatordoesnothavetobeinthe
seat,becauseofthejumperwirebeingused.
7.Runtheunitforatleast5minuteswiththedrivelevers
atfullforwardspeedtobringthehydraulicoilupto
theoperatingtemperature.
Note:Themotion-controlleversneedstobein
neutralwhilemakinganynecessaryadjustments.
8.Bringthemotion-controlleversintotheneutral
position.
9.Adjustthepumpcontrolrodlengthsbyrotatingthe
doublenutsontherodintheappropriatedirection
untilthewheelsslightlycreepinreverse(
Figure82).

andwhileapplyingslightpressuretothelever,allow
thereverse-indicatorspringstobringtheleversback
toneutral.

11.Shutofftheunit,removethejumperwirefromthewire
harness,andplugtheconnectorintotheseatswitch.
12.Removethejackstands.
13.Raisethedeckandinstalltheheight-of-cutpin.
14.Checkthatthemachinedoesnotcreepinneutralwith
theparkbrakesdisengaged.
