EachHydraulicSystemFluidCapacity:52L(52
oz)persidewithlterchange
CheckingtheHydraulicFluid
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthe
hydraulic-uidlevel.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,andsetthe
parkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
4.Allowtheengineandhydraulicsystemtocool
for10minutes.
Note:Theuidlevelonthedipstickwill
beincorrectiftheuidischeckedwhenthe
machineishot.
5.Movetheseatforward.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksofthe
hydraulic-systemreservoirs(Figure84).
7.Remove1dipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir
(Figure84).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickinto
thereservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure
84).
Note:Iftheuidlevelisattheaddmark,
slowlypouronlyenoughuidintothehydraulic
reservoirtoraisetheleveltothefullorHline.
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulic
unitswithuidasdamagemayoccur.Do
notrunthemachinewiththeuidbelowthe
addmark.
10.Installthedipstick.
11.Repeatprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.

pin-holeleaksornozzlesthateject
high-pressure-hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertond
hydraulicleaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthe
hydraulicsystembeforeperforming
anyworkonthehydraulicsystem.
Ensurethatallhydraulic-uidhoses
andlinesareingoodconditionand
thatallhydraulicconnectionsand
ttingsaretightbeforeapplying
pressuretothehydraulicsystem.
