CheckingforBentBlades
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),move
themotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position,andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Rotatethebladesuntiltheendsfaceforward
andbackward.
4.Measurefromalevelsurfacetothecutting
edge,positionA,oftheblades(Figure95).

theedgesorsurfacesoftheblade.
RemovingtheBlades
Bladesmustbereplacedifasolidobjectishit,ifthe
bladeisoutofbalance,orifthebladeisbent.To
ensureoptimumperformanceandcontinuedsafety
conformanceofthemachine,usegenuineT oro
replacementblades.Replacementbladesmadeby
othermanufacturersmayresultinnonconformance
withsafetystandards.

thickly-paddedglove.
2.Removethebladebolt,thecurvedwasher,and
thebladefromthespindleshaft(Figure96).
