ThrottleControl
ThethrottlecontrolisvariablebetweenFastandSlow.
Movingthrottleleverforwardwillincreaseenginespeed
andmovingthrottlelevertotherearwilldecreaseengine
speed.Movingthethrottleforwardintothedetentis
fullthrottle(
Figure6).
Choke
Usethechoketostartacoldengine.Pullthechoke
knobuptoengageit.Pushdownonthechokeknob
todisengageit.
BladeControlSwitch(PowerTake-Off)
Thebladecontrolswitch,representedbyapower
take-off(PTO)symbol,engagesanddisengagespower
tothemowerblades(Figure6).
HourMeter
Thehourmeterrecordsthenumberofhourstheblades
haveoperated.Itoperateswhenthebladecontrol
switch(PTO)isengaged.Usethesetimesforscheduling
regularmaintenance(Figure6).
FuelGauge
Thefuelwindowlocatedbelowtheoperatorposition
canbeusedtoverifythelevelofgasolineinthetank
(Figure7).

MotionControlLevers
Themotioncontrolleversarespeedsensitivecontrols
ofindependentwheelmotors.Movingaleverforward
orbackwardturnsthewheelonthesamesideforward
orinreverse;wheelspeedisproportionaltotheamount
theleverismoved.Movethecontrolleversoutward
fromthecentertotheneutrallockpositionandexitthe
machine(
Figure4).Alwayspositionthemotioncontrol
leversintotheneutrallockpositionwhenyoustopthe
machineorleaveitunattended.
ParkingBrakeLever
Locatedonleftsideoftheconsole(Figure4).Thebrake
leverengagesaparkingbrakeonthedrivewheels.Pull
theleverupandrearwardtoengagethebrake.Pushthe
leverforwardanddowntodisengagethebrake.
FootPedalDeckLiftSystem
Thefootpedaldeckliftsystemallowstheoperator
tolowerandraisethedeckfromtheseatedposition.
Theoperatorcanusethefootpedaltoliftthedeck
brieytoavoidobstaclesorlockthedeckinthehighest
height-of-cutortransportposition(Figure4).
