AdjustingtheFlow-bafe-cam
Locks
Thisprocedureisapplicableonlytomachineswiththeow
bafelocks.Certainmodelswillhavenutsandboltsin-place
oftheowbafelocksandcanbeadjustedthesame.
Themowerdischargeowcanbeadjustedfordifferenttypes
ofmowingconditions.Positionthecamlocksandbafeto
givethebestqualityofcut.
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheneutral-lockedposition
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Toadjustthecamlocks,swingtheleveruptoloosen
thecamlock(Figure31).
4.Adjustthebafeandcamlocksintheslotstothe
desireddischargeow.
5.Swingtheleverbackovertotightenthebafeandcam
locks(Figure31).
6.Ifthecamlocksdonotlockthebafeintoplaceorit
istootight,loosentheleverandthenrotatethecam
lock.Adjustthecamlockuntilthedesiredlocking
pressureisachieved.

Thisisthefullrearposition.Thesuggesteduseforthis
positionisasfollows:
•Useforshort,lightgrassmowingconditions.
•Useindryconditions.
•Useforsmallergrassclippings.
•Usetopropelgrassclippingsfartherawayfromthe
mower.
