Deector
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Inspect
thegrassdeectorfordamage.
WARNING
Anuncovereddischargeopeningcould
allowthelawnmowertothrowobjectsinthe
operatorsorbystandersdirectionandresult
inseriousinjury.Also,contactwiththeblade
couldoccur.
Neveroperatethelawnmowerunlessyou
installamulchplate,dischargedeector,or
grasscollectionsystem.
Inspectthegrassdeectorfordamagebeforeeach
use.Replaceanydamagedpartsbeforeuse.
1.Disengagethespringfromthenotchinthe
deectorbracketandslidetherodoutofthe
weldeddeckbrackets,spring,anddischarge
deector(Figure70).
2.Removethedamagedorworndischarge
deector.
