StoppingtheMachine
Tostopthemachine,movethetractioncontrolleversto
neutralandmovetolockedposition,disengagetheblade
controlswitch(PTO),andturntheignitionkeytooff.
Settheparkingbrakewhenyouleavethemachine;referto
SettingtheParkingBrake(page21).Remembertoremove
thekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethetractorwhileitis
unattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandsettheparking
brakewhenleavingthemachineunattended,even
ifjustforafewminutes.
AdjustingtheHeightofCut
Themachineisequippedwithafootpedaldeckliftsystem.
Theoperatorcanusethefootpedaltoliftthedeckbrieyto
avoidobstaclesorlockthedeckinthehighestheight-of-cut
ortransportposition.Theoperatorcanusetheheightof
cutleverwiththefootpedaltolockthedeckinaspecic
cuttingheight.
UsingtheFootPedalDeckLiftSystem
•Pressthepedaldowntoraisethedeck;continuetopress
thepedaluntilthedeckislockedinthetransportposition
(Figure27).
•Pushonthedeckliftpedalwithyourfootandraisethe
height-of-cutleverslightlytodisengagethetransportlock
(Figure27).
