6.Saturatetheprecleanerwithnewengineoil.Squeeze
outallexcessoil.
7.Installtheprecleaneroverthepaperelement.
8.Installtheaircleanerontotheaircleanerbase.
Securewiththelatch.
9.Closetheaircleanercoverdoor.

3.Carefullyremovetheprecleanerfromthepaper
element.Inspecttheprecleanerforanydamageor
tears.Replaceasnecessary.
4.Gentlytapthepaperelementtodislodgedirt.Do
notwashthepaperelementorusepressurized
air,asthiswilldamagetheelement.Replaceadirty,
bent,ordamagedelement.Handlethenewelement
carefully;donotuseifthesealingsurfacesarebent
ordamaged.
5.Cleantheaircleanerbaseasrequiredandcheck
condition.
6.Installtheairelementontotheaircleanerbase.
Securewiththelatch.
7.Closetheaircleanercoverdoor.
ServicingtheEngineOil
CheckingtheOilLevel
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengagethe
bladecontrolswitch,stoptheengine,engageparking
brake,andremovethekey.
2.Makesuretheengineisstopped,level,andiscoolso
theoilhashadtimetodrainintothesump.
3.Tokeepdirt,grassclippings,etc.,outoftheengine,
cleantheareaaroundtheoilllcap/dipstickbefore
removingit.
4.Pullandremovetheoilllcap/dipstick;wipeoil
off.Reinsertthedipstickandpushrmlyintoplace
(Figure31).
