1.Inspectthecuttingedges(Figure48).
Note:Iftheedgesarenotsharporhavenicks,remove
andsharpentheblades;refertoSharpeningtheBlades
(page40).
2.Inspecttheblades,especiallythecurvedarea(Figure
48).
Note:Ifyounoticeanydamage,wear,oraslot
forminginthisarea(items3and4inFigure48),
immediatelyinstallanewblade.

handprotection,slowlyrotatethebladetobemeasure
intoapositionthatallowseffectivemeasurementofthe
distancebetweenthecuttingedgeandthelevelsurface
themachineison(Figure49).
