ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblades(PTO).
3.Settheparkingbrake.
4.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
5.Removetheignitionkey.
6.PullthedrivecontrolouttothePushposition(
Figure
13).
7.Iftherearwheelslockandskidwhenyoupushthe
machineforward,youdonotneedtoadjustthebrake.
Ifthewheelsturnanddonotlock,adjustthebrake;
refertoAdjustingtheBrake.
AdjustingtheBrake
1.Checkthebrakebeforeyouadjustit;refertoChecking
theBrake.
2.EnsurethatthedrivecontrolisintheOperateposition
(Figure13)andthattheparkingbrakeison.
3.Turnthebrakeadjustingnutclockwiseuntilyoucannot
pushthemachine(Figure38).
4.Releasetheparkingbrakeandensurethattherear
wheelsrotatefreelywhenyoupushthemachine.Ifthey
donot,turnthebrakeadjustingnutcounterclockwise
justenoughsothatyoucanpushthemachine.
5.Checkthebrakeoperationagain;refertoCheckingthe
Brake.
