AdjustingtheTracking
Note:Determinetheleftandrightsidesofthemachine
fromthenormaloperatingposition.
1.Whiledrivingthemachine,pushbothcontrollevers
forwardthesamedistance.
2.Checkifthemachinetrackstooneside.Ifitdoes,
stopthemachineandsettheparkingbrake.
3.Releasetheoperatorcushionfromtherearofthe
machine.
4.Rotatetherightcableadjustmenttopositionthe
rightmotioncontrolinthecenterofthecontrol
panelneutrallockslot.Then,rotatetheleftcable
adjustmentinquarter-turnincrementsuntilthe
machinetracksstraight(
Figure56).
Note:Onlyadjusttheleftcabletomatchtheleft
wheelspeedtotherightwheelspeed.Donotadjust
therightwheelspeedasthiswillpositiontheright
motioncontrolleveroutofthecenterforthecontrol
panelneutrallockslot.
5.Checkforpropertracking.

Important:DoNotrotatethelinkagetoofar,as

ServiceInterval:Every50hours/Monthly(whichever
comesrst)
Maintaintheairpressureinthereartiresat12-14psi
(83-97kPa).Uneventirepressurecancauseanuneven
cut.
Note:Thefronttiresaresemi-pneumatictiresanddo
notrequireairpressuremaintenance.

ServiceInterval:Every500hours/Yearly(whichever

1.Disengagethebladecontrolswitch(PTO),movethe
motioncontrolleverstotheneutrallockedposition
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Removethedustcapfromcasterandtightenlock
nut(
Figure58).
4.Tightenthelocknutuntilthespringwashersareat
andthenbackoffa1/4turntoproperlysetthe
pre-loadonthebearings(
Figure58).

5.Installthedustcap(Figure58).
