Donotoperatethelawnmowerunlessyouinstall
acoverplate,amulchplate,grassdeector,or
bagger.
1.Removethelocknut,bolt,spring,andspacerholding
thedeectortothepivotbrackets(Figure89).

Removethegrassbuildupunderthemowerdaily.
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleversto
theneutral-lockedposition,andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Raisethefrontofthemachineandusejackstandsto
supportthemower.
DisposingofWaste
Engineoil,batteries,hydraulicoil,andenginecoolantare
pollutantstotheenvironment.Disposeoftheseaccordingto
yourstateandlocalregulations.
